Anne Arundel Community College is offering training as a Clinical Medical Assistant with all costs covered for qualified candidates.

Clinical Medical Assistants work under the direction of a doctor in a hybrid role, combining administrative support with patient care. Typical tasks include:

  • Answering Phones and Greeting Patients
  • Scheduling
  • Maintaining Patient Records
  • Recording Vital Signs and Medical Histories
  • Preparing Patients and Rooms for Exams and Procedures
  • Assisting the Doctor with Medical Procedures such as Vaccinations and Phlebotomy

The training will cover all you need to know to be successful in this role, pass the National Healthcare Association exam, and advance your career! Externship opportunities are available upon completion of this class.
