Overview
The Cordish Development Corporation has begun construction of the "Maryland Live" Entertainment Casino Complex at Arundel Mills. Commercial Interiors, Inc. will manage the construction of the complex. The construction project started in May, 2011 and will continue until May 2012.
Cordish has committed to providing job opportunities to Anne Arundel County citizens. The Anne Arundel Career Centers will conduct initial pre-screening of applicants to refer to Cordish.

Anticipated Positions With Maryland Live
The initial phase will involve hiring skilled construction workers, such as: carpenters, general laborers, electricians, and operating engineers. The Casino complex anticipates hiring nearly 1,100 part-time and full-time positions once construction is complete.
